I am a Doctoral Candidate in Neuroscience at Northwestern University.  My research involves working with individuals who have motor impairment following a stroke.  I am interested in clinical neuroscience, neuroimaging, neural plasticity and rehabilitation.  I am originally from California, and I have lived in Berkeley, London and Chicago.  Thanks for visiting my blog!

    This is so fascinating-how little we still understand and have to learn about the brain.I have observed Parkinson’s disease at relatively close quarters and I cling to the hope that there will be further advances.

    I also wonder if some people are afraid that we may uncover the “secrets” of how we think and act.Of contemporary novelists Richard Powers who must have a brain the size of an elephant is very thoughtful on this
